Update March 27, 2009: The Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act passed.

America Forward is working with ServiceNation and Voices for National Service to build support for the Serve America Act in the Senate. As a part of this effort we are asking your help to sign on mayors to letters of support that will go to the Senate, emphasizing the need for this social innovation and national service legislation. More than 40 mayors from communities across the country—including Mayor Bloomberg (New York City) and Mayor Diaz (Miami)—have sign on and we hope to get to 150!
