America Forward seeks to infuse the principles of innovation, accountability, and impact across federal government. In this effort we are engaging in the reauthorization process of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). Through ESEA we hope to grow innovative, impact-driven policies in the education space.

America Forward’s role in the ESEA reauthorization process is not to add additional ideas to the current rich offering of education innovators and their partners, but rather to synthesize and leverage the innovative and impact-driven policies across the legislation. To that end, America Forward will support a variety of innovative, results-focused policy proposals in areas such as teacher and leader effectiveness, wrap-around services, quality charter school expansion, and extended learning time.
