Launch of the New Profit Accelerator

We recently launched the New Profit Accelerator, a new one-year program designed to accelerate the potential of extraordinary female social entrepreneurs and the impact of their organizations. Over the next year, seven female social entrepreneurs will form a cohort and receive insider access to New Profit tools, resources, and networks in addition to a one-time gift of up to $50,000. Sarah Peter, one of our dedicated New Profit donors, funded this program out of a desire to support more female social entrepreneurs who are breaking down barriers to opportunity in America. Click here to learn about the seven amazing women in the New Profit Accelerator cohort.

America Forward Collaborates with Third Sector Capital Partners

America Forward, New Profit's nonpartisan policy arm, is excited to be collaborating with Third Sector Capital on a new $1.9M Social Innovation Fund award to explore and expand Pay for Success programs in local communities across America to address youth development, economic opportunity and public health. Pay for Success is a performance-based contract where government only pays social service providers if results are achieved rather than providing cost reimbursement payments. An informational webinar is scheduled for tomorrow, November 21st, at 12pm EST for those interested in learning more about the competition. In addition, America Forward will be holding a series of informational webinars and readiness workshops between now and the end of the year. Please visit Third Sector's website for application materials as well as a variety of resources. Applications are due January 16, 2015.
