Education Task Force Overview
Launched in 2011, the America Forward Education Task Force is comprised of more than 40 America Forward Coalition members working in the early learning, elementary and secondary education, post-secondary, and career and technical education spaces. These organizations work in thousands of schools and institutions of higher education across the country and serve large numbers of students, parents, and teachers and school leaders from under-resourced communities. Their missions, while varied, boil down to a simple purpose: to ensure all children, whatever their background, receive a first-class education. The America Forward Education Task Force is comprised of policy working groups on Early Learning, K-12 Education, Higher Education, and Career and Technical Education.
