Senior Advisor

Lee Foley serves as America Forward’s Senior Policy Advisor, and he is a Managing Partner at Capitol Hill Partners. For more than 30 years, Lee has worked as one of Washington’s foremost counselors on policy and legislative advocacy before Congress and the Executive Branch. Lee’s extensive policy expertise includes: elementary, secondary and post-secondary education, employment and training, employment security and job creation, housing, community and economic development, asset building, rural and agricultural programs, disability and civil rights policy. Lee also has extensive business experience in banking and is a founder and member of the boards of directors of financial institutions serving five major metropolitan areas. Prior to his government relations career, Lee served as a White House domestic policy advisor and Chief of Staff at the federal antipoverty agency. Lee also served on the staff of the U.S. Senate Labor and Public Welfare Committee (now the HELP Committee) and the Senate Finance Committee.
