Letty is currently a Partner at Actum, a global consulting firm built to solve problems at the intersection of business, politics, and media. Letty is also one of Washington’s leading advisors on the annual appropriations process, with almost 15 years of service to the Ranking Member on the House Appropriations Committee, Representative Rosa DeLauro (D-CT). Prior to joining Actum, Letty was Senior Managing Director of Government Affairs at an international law firm. She has extensive experience helping nonprofits advocacy organizations on increased federal investments in childcare and early learning, education, workforce, and health care. During her time in the federal government, Letty served as Chief of Staff to Rep. Letty was the lead strategist behind the Congresswoman’s successful campaign to become Chair of the Appropriations Committee in the 117th Congress. Letty has also spent significant time engaged in labor and national workforce policy, serving as Director of Labor for U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) at the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) and in the same role at the House Committee on Education and Labor for former U.S. Representative George Miller (D-CA).
