Today, April 4, America Forward is launching its Evidence in Action blog series. This series will highlight the voices of the more than 70 social innovation organizations that make up the America Forward Coalition, the results-driven solutions our community has to our country’s most pressing social problems, and the evidence-based federal programs that are critical to scaling the impact of this work.
Our series kicks off with a Medium article written by America Forward Government Affairs Director Nicole Truhe entitled Evidence-Based Policymaking is an Idea Whose Time Has Come. The post details the bipartisan history of evidence-based policymaking and outlines the Administrative actions and legislative measures that should be considered to support a social sector capable of driving impact and developing the evidence of what works to solve today’s most pressing social problems.
