Saga Education

Saga Education provides high impact mathematics tutoring, working to close the opportunity gap and advance equity by supplying the knowledge students need in the way that individual students learn best. Transcend

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, between 2020 and 2022, approximately 300,000 teachers left the profession, leading to an estimated 3% drop in the total educator workforce. Transcend, a national organization that supports school communities, addresses this in their latest report, focused on ways to redesign schools not only for greater student learning and happiness, but also for greater teacher satisfaction. Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors

Earlier this year, Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors released a new report that took the pulse of Latino families on the economic and social challenges they’re facing, particularly families that are planning to have children or already have young children. The report highlights strong support for education, as well as strong support for assistance or policies that uplift mental health, public safety, and equitable opportunity.

Envision Education

Envision Education’s national branch, Envision Learning Partners, is offering a STEM Equity Workshop this April to support the incorporation of culturally responsive practices into classrooms that teach STEM principles! This workshop is part of Envision Learning Partners work across the country to assess student talent in a way that is rigorous, equitable, and helps students to reach their full potential by providing services and events that support positive outcomes.

Equal Opportunity Schools

Equal Opportunity Schools works to develop equitable, culturally responsive learning environments so that students have a better chance at academic success. You can access their Action for Equity model to find strategies for embedding equity and sustainability into academic curricula and help bridge the opportunity gap. This resource contains free information on how to develop courses with a focus on opportunity, success, extending equity, and more!
