American Student Assistance

American Student Assistance helps middle and high students explore and discover new, exciting educational experiences and career pathways. To help expand their outreach and support more young people, they’ve launched a new resource – Evolve Me, an online platform for teens to practice critical life skills while earning real life rewards! This tool enables learner-driven activities like meeting with online mentors or participating in practice job interviews with the motivation of earning rewards participants can use as they go.

CASEL, the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning, works to expand social and emotional learning opportunities for all students to support their growth and development. This month, they released a free, virtual course for those who are looking to learn the what, why, and how of social emotional learning. The course is open to all and done at your own pace, with downloadable workbooks and discussion guides to support you as you go.

Generation Citizen

Generation Citizen champions inclusive, representative, and culturally-relevant civics education for students across the country, in order to provide them with the knowledge and skills to be active participants and contributors in our democracy. To make this mission accessible for all, they offer a wide range of toolkits and resources for students, educators, and leaders, including lesson plans, policy initiatives, and flyers, accessible on their website today!

The Learning Accelerator

As a national nonprofit, The Learning Accelerator engages educators and policymakers across the country to transform the K-12 education system by connecting leaders and sharing best practices. One key resource is their monthly Stories of Learning podcast, which shares critical insights and real-world conversations focused on education innovation. The episodes are available across multiple platforms now!

As the student loan landscape continues to shift and interest rates continue to rise, it is more important than ever that students are able to make fully informed decisions about their educational futures. uAspire, which works to remove financial barriers to higher education through policy change, advising, and education, offers a multitude of programming resources along with their college cost calculator to help students and families achieve a more accurate picture of college costs and future student loan payments.
